I meant to post this last week but due to kids (and myself) coming down with a cold and an unexpected power outage things got pushed back a bit. NEW PATTERN: Herrington
I'm so excited to release my newest pattern, "Herrington"! With its herringbone inspired graphics and beautiful artisan yarns, Herrington is a stylish and functional knit to add to your cooler weather accessories. The pattern offers directions for either a 3-color infinity scarf or a 2-color standard cowl. Worked in the round, it uses a provisional cast on and Kitchener stitch grafting. Baby Owen
Hopefully you already follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and/or my Ravelry Group page, because if you do you've already heard the good news. If you don't, well my blog absence might have been all clue you needed to know that yes, I did have my baby boy. Owen James was born 2 weeks early at a healthy 8 pounds, 1 ounce and 19.5 inches. He has a head full of dark hair just like his brothers did. He's absolutely beautiful and we are all doing great! I'm so thankful for my sweet new boy and my now family of 5! Life...

Sweet Lattice for Baby Z
I wasn't sure if I'd finish in time but Baby Z's blanket is done! Phew! I've knit special blankets for all of my babies before their arrival and I would have felt awful if baby #3 arrived without his first knitted blanket finished. When it comes to Knitty.com all knitters get excited when a new issue is released.
