A NOTE ABOUT GAUGE:Gauge for 1-color and 2-color knitting can vary. Because there are large sections of this pattern knit with 1-color and large sections knit with 2-color It is ultra important to check your gauge to ensure accurate sizing. You may need to adjust needle size when knitting with 1-color versus 2-color. Remember blocking will help even out your stitches, so block those gauge swatches too! All this considered, if your gauge does vary between 1-color and 2-color knitting, you can either adjust your needle size as necessary or you can choose to see this variation in gauge as a design element. The choice is yours!
