Sep 18, 2014 Plucktember WIPs With Plucktember 18 days in I thought I should pop in and post my WIPs that I have been working on. I must say, with my love for Plucky Yarn, every month is Plucktember for me ;) but I do seem to push out more knitting during this official Plucktember month. Below is a pic of some of my Plucktember WIPs. I can't reveal too much because these are new designs I'm working on. I've very excited about them! However, not pictured above, I do have a new pattern on my needles that I can tell you about. My Color Swatch Cowl has gone over so well and it is such a fun to knit that I'm designing a hat and mitts to go with. Seems only natural, right? And here's a photo to show that it's not all 'work' knitting for me these days. My sweet Owen turns one next week. (I still can't believe that!) So naturally I just casted on for a sweater that I'm hoping to finishing up for him for him to wear in his one year photoshoot that this weekend. I had two skeins in my stash that I got from the One Hit Wonder bin at the Plucky Shindig last June and the yarn is perfect. It might seem impossible to finish up this sweater in two days but the Flax sweater is a very cute and quick knit and I'm sure I'll get it done in time. Fingers crossed anyway!
