May 12, 2014 TNNA 2014 Photobook It's hard to believe it's already been a week since TNNA. TNNA is such a wonderful show to go to. It's great for business, networking and inspiration but my favorite part is being about catching up in-person with my friends in the industry that I usually only get to 'see' via the internet. It's so wonderful to be surrounded by people with the same passion for knitting! Below are some pics from the show… Here I am in my happy place - my booth! I made sure I snagged a signed copy of Wendy Bernard of Knit And Tonic's new book, Up, Down, All-Around. (She's an awesome girl!) Here is the lovely Sarah (of Ravelry) at lunch holding Tot Topper's baby Elliot. Elliot was one of my roommates and what a good baby he was the whole trip! Saturday night I had a fantastic dinner at St. Elmo's. Above is me with Kate of Tot Toppers, Melynda of French Press Knits and the Ravelry team. Oh yeah, and some random photobomber in the far left back - where'd he come from? My boothmate/roomie/car-pool partner/friend Meylnda of French Press Knits and the always sweet Jess of Ravelry comparing baby bumps. How cute are they! Laura Nelkin and Kirsten Kapur in their booth. I love hanging out with these girls - so fun! I got my hands on some Big Bad Wool, Weepaca. The logo I designed for them looks great on the label and the yarn is sooo soft. Looking forward to designing with this wonderful wool! Sunday night dinner with Toby Roxane Barna, Kate Oates of Tot Toppers, and Sarah of Fiberstory. It was my first time meeting Sarah - I love that she's a fellow Michigan girl! Was great to catch up with Lori or Versaci Knits. I got to meet Sarah Wilson of Sexy Knitter fam. Have been wanting to meet her - she's so nice! And here is the whole Deep South Fibers crew. Bottom row starting at left is me, Lydia and Meghan of PomPom Magazine, Meri of Sparkles United, and Hilary of The Yarniad. Top row starting at left is Jamie of Imagine Knit, Toby Roxane Barna, Melynda of French Press Knits, Lori of Versaci Knits, Susan of SknitsB, Olga Jazzy and Kate of Tot Toppers. What a honor to be a part of such a great industry and group of talented people. I had such a wonderful time. Already looking forward to next year!
